A Singapore-based woodworking studio that produces handcrafted accessories, primarily earrings, and bags by upcycling discarded wood pieces sourced from local carpenters.
During my gap year in 2019, I joined Studio Mu Yu as an Assistant Designer, which allowed me to connect with many local crafters as well as understand our consumers needs through various events.
As an Assistant Designer, I was tasked in:
Planning and staging of product photography
Creating simple content for Instagram
Ideating and designing new collections
Slow-making bespoke wooden accessories and bags
Overseeing store at pop-up markets/ events
Conducting Ikigai jewellery workshops
